In this talk, Ulrich Weidmann, Professor of Transport Systems and ETH VP for Infrastructure and Sustainability, and Dr. Stefan Schürer, Deputy General Secretary of the DETEC will provide insights into their collaboration on the project Verkehr 2045. The goal of this project was to conduct an independent analysis to assess and prioritise the planned expansion projects for Switzerland’s roads, railways and urban transport for the period from 2025 to 2045.
