Your perspective on working with disabilities matters
Practising inclusion means creating a respectful and open working environment and actively removing barriers. To strengthen this commitment, VPPL has launched the project ’Working with Disabilities’ and set up a dedicated team. All employees are invited to share their experiences in the survey linked below and help strengthen inclusion at ETH Zurich.
As an employer, ETH Zurich strives to ensure equal participation of people with physical or mental disabilities in everyday working life. Inclusion is not only an expression of social responsibility, but also benefits teams and the organisation as a whole. This commitment is embedded in ETH Zurich’s values and reflected in its social and leadership competencies.
Reducing barriers
In recent years, numerous structural and digital barriers have been reduced through the programme Barrier-Free at ETH Zurich. Building on this, HR Consulting (VPPL) is further promoting employee inclusion through the project ’Working with Disabilities’. The project aims to further reduce barriers, not only physical and digital ones, but also those in communicative, social and cultural contexts. ETH employees can expect greater awareness, additional training and tailored support across individual, team and leadership levels.
Take part in the survey
To move forward effectively, the experiences and views of all employees – with or without disabilities – are important to us. That is why we invite you to take part in the anonymous survey, which takes around 15 minutes and is conducted by the Profil Foundation. As an organisation specialising in supporting people with disabilities in Switzerland, the external page Profil Foundation is an experienced partner in this project. We will share an update on further project developments around mid-year.
