Effy Vayena has been the new Vice President for Knowledge Transfer and Corporate Relations since 1 January, succeeding Vanessa Wood.
Vayena has been a full professor of bioethics at ETH Zurich since May 2017. Her career milestones include working as a technical officer in the field of reproductive medicine and research ethics at the World Health Organisation (WHO) and holding an SNF professorship in bioethics and health policy at the University of Zurich in 2015.
