Swiss Digital Days at ETH Zurich
Digitalisation is rapidly transforming our society. The fifth national Digital Day will highlight once again what this transformation means for the Swiss population and economy. As in past years, ETH Zurich is a partner of the event. Between 20 and 27 October, it will be presenting three projects that showcase digitalisation in a tangible way.
The purpose of the Swiss Digital Day is to raise awareness of the digital transformation among the population and to foster dialogue about its consequences. This year, the main event on 10 November will be preceded by a preliminary phase lasting six weeks. One of the contributors to the event is ETH Zurich, which will be presenting three projects about various aspects of the digital transformation at 皇冠体育,皇冠体育app Info on the H?nggerberg campus from 20 to 27 October.
Enjoy a coffee with Einstein
Albert Einstein was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics a century ago. To mark this occasion, ETH Zurich has brought its most famous alumnus to life digitally. Behind the digital Einstein figure and his ability to see, hear and interact with his viewers is a complex algorithmic system developed by the company Animatico.
Digital characters like Einstein offer an opportunity to make interaction between humans and machines more intuitive and more accessible to people who are less tech-savvy or who have disabilities. Explore the world of artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence (AI) supports humans in tasks that require intelligent solutions. The interactive game “Morph Tales – Exploring Artificial Intelligence” is inspired by real-life AI research. It offers players aged 12 and older a smart and intuitive approach to the world of AI by experiencing how AI can help humans solve challenging tasks.

Managing stress with virtual reality
What potential do artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR) offer in detecting and managing stress? An interdisciplinary research team at the Mobiliar Lab for Analytics at ETH Zurich is investigating this. Employees are supported by a digital stress management intervention, which includes an early warning system - developed in laboratory experiments at ETH and validated with employees at the workplace.
