| Python is a programming language which is popular, widely used and feature-rich. One reason for Python's popularity is that this scripting language is easy to learn and easy to install on various operating systems (on Linux, the language is already part of most distributions). For these reasons, Python is perfectly suited to facilitate the (repetitive) work of system administrators. If you have written a Python script for your processes, you can test this script on Windows and run it on Linux. Anything that can be solved with a bash or PowerShell script can also be solved with a Python script. But Python is significantly easier to read! | |
Participants will be able to use Python in such a way that they can efficiently manage their tasks from the field of system administration. | |
